General Mills, I’m Sorry, But I Call BS

OMG are you kidding me?!? This is truly repulsive and I’d like to know how the creators of this little “info graphic” can sleep at night. These cereals are NOT “superfoods”. They are over processed grains, sugar, preservatives and laboratory made vitamins and minerals. For General Mills to compare Honey Nut Cheerios and kale….?!? Seriously ridiculous. Specifically they are comparing the vitamin C levels… the vitamin C they manufactured then added into the cereal. That is NOT what makes a food a superfood… what does is all of the amazing things like naturally occurring phytochemicals, fiber and ingredients only nature makes that fight cancer, heart disease and obesity. In fact, if you do eat a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios you have even more reason to consume that kale, not less. Sadly this is just one example of the power of marketing… please know the truth people, do your own research and only gather info from people and research that DON’T have a financial interest in what they are promoting.
